L'axe de manivelle a permis de sauver notre parasol Ikea ! Le montage/démontage a été un peu fastidieux mais finalement avec un peu d'huile de coude nous sommes satisfaits du résultat en espérant que le parasol durera encore de nombreuses années :)
This piece is SEVERE! Precision machined billet aluminum It will outlive the umbrella for certain. Saved us the need to replace the whole unit which would have been a pain given that it's sunk in the ground. See the pics for a comparison with the pieces of the original unit (looks like pot metal). The only downside for those not in the EU is that it takes a while to get it, about 3 weeks, but a little patience results in rewards (we're in California). Totally recommended if you want to save your IKEA umbrella (and I'm bookmarking this site for the future for other needs).
One note for those making this replacement...the screw that mounts this piece in the larger hexagonal unit is LEFT-HANDED. Took a minute to figure that out 🤣.
